NARF has been heavily involved in discussion with the NHMRC concerning the restructuring of the entire grant funding program, including the future and sustainability of Fellowships. The NARF executive met with senior staff of the NHMRC including the CEO Prof Anne Kelso and Dr Tony Willis. These discussions are still on-going and the final outcome of the structural review will not be known until late 2017-early 2018. This will also include the transition arrangements for existing grant and Fellowship holders. NARF appreciates that this is an extremely important matter and is striving to maximise outcomes for its membership.
